The Department of Business Administration was established according to Decision No. 08/2007/QĐ-ĐHTĐ dated March 5, 2007. Nearly 2,000 undergraduate students have been graduated in fields related to business administration, marketing, international business, logistics, and supply chain management through various forms of education, including: (1) full-time, (2) second degree, and (3) bridging (working while studying). In March 2013, the Ministry of Education and Training and the University Rector assigned the department the responsibility of training Master's students in Business Administration. Currently, more than 500 students are enrolled in the program. In 2021, the department began to offer a Doctoral program in Business Administration, mark a milestone in the development of its training capacity. This has also contributed to make Tay Do University be the first private university in the Mekong Delta region to offer postgraduate programs after more than 15 years of establishment and development. The department has also participated in selecting and successfully implementing various scientific research projects at the province, city, district, and enterprise levels.
