On September 6th 2024, there is a report on the acceptance council for the city-level scientific research project at the basic level. The name of the event is “Factors Affecting the Role of Can Tho City as a Regional Linkage Center in the Mekong Delta.” The project was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Duy Huan and chaired by the scientifical staff of Tay Do University.
At the council meeting, the council members highly appreciated the content of the topic. The research team has dedicated a significant amount of time to studying and consulting many valuable references to make the topic more practical. The research results highlight the factors influencing the central role of regional connectivity in the Mekong Delta and have both theoretical and practical significance. They contribute to enhance the role and position of Can Tho City as the central hub for regional connectivity in the Mekong Delta and as a key connection point for provinces, as well as a center for regional development links both domestically and internationally. However, the topic also received feedback from the council members, who suggested that the authors revise and supplement certain parts in order to refine the work according to the recommendations, so that it can proceed to the official acceptance report as per the regulations.
